The SFS Governance Board provides overall strategic direction to the SFS Program and is the final decision-making authority with respect to the SFS. The Governance Board has final decision-making authority over budget, resource plans, scope, schedule and major deployment issues, but relies on the input of the SFS Director and Leadership Team, working in consultation with the SFS Steering Committee.
The SFS Steering Committee is a key component of the governance structure. It is composed of representatives from the Office of the State Comptroller, the Division of the Budget, the Office of the Chief Information Officer/Office for Technology, as well as key stakeholder agencies.
